The MKG group has recently held an event for members of the public to showcase science and facilities in Cambridge physical sciences (Department of Materials Science and Cambridge Graphene Centre).
The event was an opportunity to discuss some of the megatrends in materials science and exciting new technology being developed in Cambridge.
The trip was also supported by Dr Thanuja Galhena, Dr Steven Hodge and Dr Luigi Occhipinti of the Cambridge Graphene Centre, Bhasi Nair of Device materials group, Dr Paul Coxon of materials chemistry, Dr Dominik Dziedzic of phase transformations, Samer Kurdi of device materials group, Dr Adarsh Kaniyoor of Macromolecular materials and Dr John Walmsley of the high resolution electron microscopy group. Special thanks are also given to Sidney Sussex College for putting on an excellent evening dinner.
